Luis has done service for our garage door twice. Once for the new motor install and the second time to replace the rollers. Both times he showed up early. I couldn't be more pleased with my experience with Precision. Approximately 3-4 years ago a technician came to check out my garage door and noted the need to replace several parts for the door to operate properly. About a year later my motor needed replacing. The technician advised on replacing it with the genie. Since that initial contact, I have made calls to Precision with minor issues. From the representative answering my call to the technician responding to address my issue, I was treated with respect and courtesy at all times. My technician was on time, polite and explained the details of what was wrong with my current garage door system. The new one works great, but I am not entirely happy with how the purchase was handled. Once it was confirmed I needed a new door, I was given a price that seemed high, then there were add-ons. I take responsibility for not asking if there was another choice for the equipment. Unfortunately I was distracted with a work issue and I should have asked. Clearly I was only presented with the hight end version - only one option! I did not even know it had a camera, which I find totally unnecessary. For anyone else making a purchase, ask what all the choices and options are.

Appointments were made same day, next day or two. Given a 4 hour window, usually there within 1 1/2 hr of time range given. Service was for replacement of the motor of electric garage door opener. (Of course, a new motor means a new “rail” because the old on doesn’t work with the new motor.) Tech was friendly and accommodating. He explained the issues and process to correct problem. Went above and beyond in handling the remote control for the door and programming it. Probably not the cheapest, or the most expensive, but a reasonable price for this day and age, with what seems to be quality materials. I was given the choice of which motor to install, the one that lasts 10-15 years, or the other that lasts even longer (I should live so long.) Would highly recommend.

When I remodeled my home about 10 years ago, I had Precision install a new garage door. They were awesome then and are still awesome. I called them to service the door in March/April 2025 as the home had been flooded by both hurricanes in October 2024. Precision has wonderful employees who accommodate your schedule and arrive when they say they will. The technician is a great asset, spent time explaining things to me and giving me recommendations to keep my garage door working smoothly. We did not get off to a good start with our "door designer", but the sales manager, Mike, took control and we are very happy with his services. He answered all of our questions, came to our residence to meet with us, showed us door samples and gave us a discount for our troubles that was unexpected but much appreciated. The new door has not been installed yet, but we do not anticipate any issues.
