The installation of a new AMARR HERITAGE 1000 24 GAGE STEEL, NO WINDOWS, HURRICANE RATED, two door garage door went very well! The installer on December 19, 2018 arrived timely, worked fast. The door opens and closes very quietly. The new garage door opener equipment is also quiet. When the door is closed, it appears to muffle much of the street noise This is the second time Precision Door installed a garage door for me at two separate houses. Great product. Great service.

I always appreciate honesty and that's what I received yesterday on a service request that I wasn't sure if Precision could help me out with or not. I half expected to get charged for the service call, but was pleasantly surprised that I did not. There was nothing they could do to help me, but did quickly check my garage opener & offered some suggestions to my flooding problem in the garage. Thank you Precision!

The technician was professional, But the prices for the work performed was astronomical, you can buy the whole garage door opener for 1\3 of the price this company charged me for changing 12$ gear drive(I was charged 360$)

I chose Precision because they were local and your web site enabled me to see the quality and experience of your technicians. This was proven to me by the rapid response and work performed by Bob and Isaac. They not only diagnosed the problem but more importantly determined its root cause and proposed long lasting remedies. Although it turned to be higher cost than expected I believe that it is money well spent especially given the quality and reputation of the company.

I called for a garage door tune up. Chris Carelas arrived and was very courteous, efficient and professional. My garage door is newer but has never functioned properly. In Chris' attempts to make adjustments we discovered that the existing door was not installed properly. Long story short replace we replaced the existing springs with torsion spring. I also had him install a key pad. Not the original intent for my call for service but there is no doubt my suspicion was confirmed and necessary adjustments/service was done. The door is safer and operates much better now. I definitely would recommend Chris and Precision doors for service needs.

The technician that performed the repairs to my garage door was Christopher S. This young man was very professional and extremely knowledgeable with his job duties. He made both myself and my family members whom were present during today’s visit feel very comfortable with him from beginning to end. Tech was pleasant and fast but price for what I got seemed extremely high. 2 end bearing plates (ie $120 of galvanized brackets) a ranged ball bearing, a galvanized shaft and new torsion spring for $480. There was also a $10 fuel surcharge???? Install took about an hour. Wow.

Arnold did a great job installing the new opener. I'm disappointed with the ridiculous price you charged me after I checked around after my opener was installed. Your price 800.00, other quotes were under 400.00 for the same opener , installed. Sorry, but I will not recommend your company.

Bryan did a nice job explaining what the situation was with my garage door. Both men were nice and polite. I would refer your company again. The only thing that I didn't appreciate was the $20.00 gas charge which was steep. It didn't cost you $20.00 to get to my house and I feel that was ridiculous. Plus the only thing wrong turned out to be a matter of a sticky door and some minor adjustments. Just thought you should know my honest opinion since you asked. .

I saw one of their techs working on a neighbor's garage door this morning and was impressed at the work he did. I asked if he had the time when he was finished to take at look at our squeaky, creaky, 20+ year old door. After he finished at the neighbor's he came over and diagnosed the problem. He gave us a detailed estimate on the spot. I reviewed and accepted it. To my pleasant surprise, he offered to do the necessary work right then and there. I accepted the offer and the work was expertly done with a few hours. I am very impressed at the quality of the work and at the effort made by the tech to communicate clearly with me throughout the project. I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

Excellent service!! He hung out a little longer to run me thru the LED bulb issue with openers which solved my problem, greased my squeaky belt, among other things, and was very personable. In short he didn't leave until the job was 100% complete and then some. Though now retired, profession was with a multi billion dollar electronics firm here in St Pete. Among do many other products we mfg 240000+ Apple Iphones per day. I can assure you I understand customer service better than most. Michael's work and professionalism was superb. FYI I live in a 30 unit townhome community. Units were built in the 80's . Something's always breaking. I will highly recommend Precision to the Association for future repairs. Thank you.

Cons: There is no pricing on the website. When you call in the ladies know very little about the garage door openers and again will give no pricing. Pros: Called and came early on the day scheduled. No high pressure sales at all from my tech Kevin A. Kevin was very good explaining my options from repairing my older unit and replacement units that meet my needs. He had everything on the truck to complete my install there on the spot in a very timely manor. Prices were very fair for the quality and warranty they offer. I would highly recommend Precision to anybody and ask for Kevin A as your tech.

I own a home in St. Pete Beach that I also rent. The lock on the garage door broke off and, unfortunately, it is the only entry way into the space. I called Precision and asked them to send someone over to open the door. The "technician" named Carlos called me and said that he could not open the door. When I told him that I usually had luck just prying with a hammer head or crow bar on the left side, he came up with a bunch of excuses as to why they would have to cut the door, etc. etc. Still, it was clear that he had not tried to open it in the way I suggested. I do not think they tried very hard and if you're looking for a company that goes above and beyond, find another one.
